PDST LITERACY CONFERENCE 2015 - UNLOCKING THE DOOR TO LEARNING

VISUAL LITERACY ACROSS THE CURRICULUM

Based on the idea that pictures or images can be ‘read’ and can communicate meaning just as text can, this workshop will focus on the ways in which the JCSP Library Project has begun to support visual literacy across the curriculum. It will suggest some possible titles that could be used in the classroom to teach aspects of the curriculum at second level.
